Sildenafil 100mg

What is Kamagra?

Kamagra claims to be an ED treatment similar to Viagra. It is manufactured by an Indian company called Ajanta Pharma Ltd. It’s available as a tablet, an effervescent tablet or an oral jelly, and is popular for being a cheap alternative to Viagra. Like Viagra, the active ingredient in Kamagra is sildenafil citrate. It belongs to a class of drugs called phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5) inhibitors, and so Kamagra is thought to work like Viagra. Upon sexual stimulation, Kamagra relaxes blood vessels in the penis, allowing blood to enter and cause an erection. However, as Kamagra is not regulated or licensed in the UK, this cannot be verified.

What are Kamagra oral jellies?

Kamagra doesn’t have to be taken as a tablet. It also comes in pouches as a flavoured oral jelly. These oral jellies dissolve in the mouth, so unlike Kamagra pills, there’s no need to take them with water. They’re easy to swallow, and since they’re absorbed quicker into the the bloodstream, they produce a faster response. Kamagra oral jellies claim to give an erection in as little as 10 minutes. This faster acting method of sildenafil could pose a health threat, as it can potentially cause a rapid drop in blood pressure. Each pouch is thought to contain 20-100mg of sildenafil citrate. Kamagra oral jellies come in many flavours, including chocolate, vanilla, mint, banana, orange and strawberry.

What is Super Kamagra?

While regular Kamagra tablets contain one active ingredient, Super Kamagra (also called Super Kamagra 160) has two ingredients. Each tablet alleges to contain 100mg of sildenafil citrate, as well as 60mg of dapoxetine. Dapoxetine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), one of the most commonly prescribed forms of antidepressants. It was approved for the treatment of premature ejaculation in 2009, and was launched in the UK in 2013. According to the manufacturer, Ajanta Pharma Ltd., the combination of drugs allows you to have sex for longer. But because both drugs can cause a drop in blood pressure, taking them together is not advised and can lead to dizziness, fainting, and other harmful side effects.

Kamagra is not approved by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), the body that regulates human medication in the UK. That means it’s illegal to buy and sell Kamagra in the UK. The drug is also not approved by the Food and Drug Administration, the body that regulates human medication in the US. According to EU counterfeit seizures, PDE5 inhibitors are the most counterfeited class of drug in Europe, with up to 2.5 million men exposed to illicit sildenafil. This means that there may be as many illegal users of PDE5 inhibitors as legal users. In the year to March 2018, the MHRA seized £17,666,007 worth of counterfeit drugs, including Kamagra. Since Kamagra is unapproved and unregulated, it’s highly likely that the tablets and oral jellies you find online are counterfeits, produced by illegal drug trafficking gangs.

Is Kamagra safe to take?

All pharmacies in the UK, including online pharmacies, are regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). These pharmacies purchase medication from wholesalers licensed by the MHRA, which guarantees that patients receive safe, genuine products. All legal online pharmacies in the UK are listed on the MHRA’s register of authorised online sellers of medicines. They must display the Distance Selling Logo on every page of their website. This makes it easy to see if an online pharmacy is legitimate.

Since Kamagra is unregulated, there are no rules or procedures to make sure it meets the requirements or standards for medication in the UK. Kamagra bought online comes from an unknown source, so there’s no way of knowing how much of the active ingredient it contains, if any at all. Illegal sellers might also use several harmful ingredients that are not listed.

Most drugs also have side effects, and can interfere with other medication or health conditions. Approved online pharmacies carry out appropriate medical checks before prescribing medication to ensure it’s safe for you to take. Websites that sell Kamagra online don’t perform any medical checks at all. For example, up to 90% of men with impotence have at least one underlying physical cause, such as diabetes or cardiovascular disease. Taking Kamagra without speaking to a qualified healthcare professional can interfere with these conditions, causing further health complications.

For example, the active ingredient sildenafil citrate, interacts with nitrates. Nitrates are medications used to treat chest pain. When the two are taken together, it can cause fatal hypotension, which is a drop in blood pressure to a dangerously low level. Sildenafil should also be avoided or used with caution by those that have certain heart or liver problems. Only a qualified healthcare professional can make you properly aware of the risks, and help you find the ED treatment that is suitable for you.

Other side effects of Kamagra include:

  • A painful long-lasting erection
  • Bloody or cloudy urine
  • Blurred vision
  • Burning, numbness or tingling in the arms
  • Deafness
  • Diarrhoea
  • Dizziness
  • Headache
  • Hot flushes
  • Indigestion
  • Insomnia
  • Muscle pain
  • Nausea
  • Nosebleeds
  • Painful urination
  • Rash
  • Sensitivity to light
  • Tinnitus
  • Vertigo

So far, we’ve been looking at the best case scenario where the Kamagra pills you buy online are genuine. When you buy counterfeit drugs, the risks are significantly worse. An analysis of counterfeit PDE5 inhibitors showed that the amount of sildenafil citrate in Kamagra could be anywhere between 0% and over 200% of the claimed dose. High doses of sildenafil citrate can cause a priapism, an unnaturally long-lasting painful erection. While most men who buy Kamagra online are looking for an ED treatment, priapism can cause permanent damage to the penis. Therefore, taking Kamagra could have a negative effect on your long term sex life. To make matters worse, counterfeit drug manufacturers often use low-quality, dangerous ingredients to save money with no regard for your health.

Counterfeit medications have been known to contain:

  • Amphetamines
  • Bulk lactose
  • Caffeine
  • Commercial-grade paints
  • Talcum powder
  • Active ingredients for other pharmaceuticals, such as paracetamol and metronidazole
  • Other unidentified impurities

One documented case of Kamagra usage also resulted in repeated lead intoxication. As well as abdominal pain, constipation and diarrhoea, high levels of lead intoxication can cause major neurocognitive defects, such as brain disorders, seizures, and in some cases, death. Several instances of counterfeit medication contaminated with lead-containing paint have been reported by the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute Programme on Counterfeiting. Taking Kamagra always poses a significant risk. There is no way to know what is really contained in the pills, and whether it is fit for human consumption. It’s clear to see that using Kamagra is a risk, both legally and medically. Still, many men continue to use it as an ED treatment because it’s so cheap.

But buying Kamagra online isn’t the money saver sellers would have you believe. Traditionally, ED drugs have been expensive, and Kamagra has offered a cheap solution to many men that could not afford to pay the high prices for the medication, or the private GP consultation. While Kamagra prices start from £0.49 per tablet, genuine medication is now just as affordable. For example, Chemist Click offers sildenafil tablets from £0.77 per tablet, tadalafil from £0.55 per tablet, and vardenafil from £2.19 per tablet. The consultation fee is included in the price. Purchasing ED medication is now much more affordable, and online pharmacies offer a safer alternative, with next day delivery.

As a generic (non-branded) form of Viagra, sildenafil has the same effect. In fact, there is no clinical difference between Viagra and sildenafil. Having been on the market for over 20 years, sildenafil is a safe treatment, used by millions of men worldwide. At least two-thirds of men report having improved erections after taking sildenafil, and it’s backed up by many positive reviews. Sildenafil doses range from 25mg to 100mg, with a usual recommended starting dose of 50mg. Sildenafil is taken once a day to treat ED, and you should never take more than 100mg within 24 hours. Once swallowed, the tablet takes 30-60 minutes to work and lasts up to four hours, though it’s less effective when taken with food. Since sildenafil isn’t an aphrodisiac it doesn’t affect sex drive, so you still need to be sexually aroused for it to work.

Common side effects affecting up to 1 in 10 people might include:

  • Blurred vision
  • Headache
  • Colour tinge to vision
  • Dizziness
  • Facial flushing
  • Hot flushes
  • Indigestion
  • Nausea
  • Stuffy nose
  • Visual disturbance

Research shows there are no harmful side effects from long-term consumption of sildenafil. Also known as generic Cialis, tadalafil and Cialis have the same active ingredient. Like sildenafil, it’s part of the PDE5 inhibitor class of drugs, and works in the same way. Tadalafil seems to be becoming more popular than Viagra (sildenafil), as it works faster, lasts longer, and has milder side effects. It proves to be extremely effective in managing ED, with users reporting good results.

Tadalafil is available as tadalafil daily (2.5mg or 5mg), and tadalafil 36 hour (10mg or 20mg). The daily variant is taken every day, and provides a continuous effect after around 3-5 days. Unlike sildenafil, this makes it a continuous solution for ED, allowing for a more spontaneous sex life. Tadalafil 36 hour is often called “the weekend pill”, as it can be taken on Friday and can still be effective until Sunday. Its lower dose compared to sildenafil’s 25-100mg might also reduce the likelihood of side effects. It takes around 30-60 minutes to work, and can be taken with food. Patients should never take more than one tablet within 24 hours. From £8.89 for four tablets, it’s slightly more expensive than sildenafil. But many patients find the price is worth the added benefits. You can explore the difference between sildenafil and tadalafil here.

Vardenafil is a generic alternative to Levitra. Like sildenafil and tadalafil, it’s also a PDE5 inhibitor. Though less well known than other treatments, vardenafil has reviewed positively among patients. The drug is available as 5mg, 10mg and 20mg tablets, with a recommended starting dose of 10mg. It’s more potent than sildenafil, and requires a lower dose, which might result in fewer side effects. Vardenafil is also available as an orodispersible tablet that dissolve on the tongue like a breath mint. This means it can be taken without water, making it much more discreet. Vardenafil should be taken 30-60 minutes before sexual activity, and is effective for four to six hours. Patients should never take more than one vardenafil tablet within 24 hours.

Common side effects affecting up to 1 in 10 people might include:

  • Blocked or runny nose.
  • Dizziness.
  • Flushing.
  • Indigestion.

Both Kamagra and Viagra contain the same active ingredient, sildenafil citrate, and so work in the same way. Where Viagra comes in 25mg, 50mg and 100mg tablets, regular Kamagra tablets are only available in 100mg. But since Viagra is a regulated medication you can be sure it contains the stated dose of sildenafil citrate. The unregulated Kamagra might contain more than double the stated dose, or even none at all. Unlike Viagra, Kamagra is also available as a flavoured oral jelly or as Super Kamagra.

Kamagra is cheaper than Viagra, however, Viagra’s higher price comes with decades of research into its effects and safety, and plenty of legitimate retailers. When you buy Viagra online, you can check if the dispensing pharmacy has a Distance Selling Logo to prove its authenticity. Because it’s illegal to buy and sell Kamagra in the UK, no online seller will be approved by the GPhC or MHRA. Since 2012, the non-branded (generic) version of Viagra has been on the market, with prices matching Kamagra. This makes the drug affordable and is one of the reasons why more men are turning away from ordering Kamagra online and choosing the safer option from regulated pharmacies.

As well as being illegal in the UK, Kamagra isn’t as safe or reliable as other treatments for ED. Since it’s unregulated, there’s no way to know how much sildenafil citrate it contains. This means taking Kamagra might have no effect, or it might cause permanent damage to your penis and your health. Kamagra is also highly likely to be counterfeit, and sold by criminal gangs. These counterfeit versions often contain harmful ingredients such as paint. Regulated medication like sildenafil, tadalafil and vardenafil are significantly safer and more effective as ED treatments. But remember, unless you buy them from an approved pharmacy, they’re also likely to be counterfeit when bought online. To make sure you’re getting genuine products, always buy your medication from a reputable source. Chemist Click is registered with the MHRA, and we display the Distance Selling Logo throughout our site to prove that our products are authentic. We perform a detailed check into your health and medical history, and dispatch medication in plain, discreet packaging with an option for next day delivery.

While medication is an excellent tool for managing the problem, ED is typically a symptom of another physical or psychological cause. If you’re struggling with ED, don’t be afraid to have a confidential talk with a qualified healthcare professional. They can help you identify the underlying cause and work towards a permanent solution.
